I was the proud proofreader of Laura's first book, If You Give an Ox an Oxy. In "You Should Know Her” I ask six questions: three Big Qs and three Little Qs to each person that I highlight. It’s a glimpse into a woman that was laser focused on her dreams and set any reservations or fears aside and went for it.
The Big Q's:
1. What was your WHY?
Only 16% of parents are talking to their teenagers about prescription drug abuse – I want to change that statistic.
2. What did you ALMOST allow to stand in your way? What was your limiting belief?
I conceived my book idea as a partnership with a best-selling author. When she turned me down, I could have abandoned the idea. Instead, I moved ahead with even more fervor!
3. Advice to those in the same boat as you were.
There is nothing that you can’t do. Just because you’ve never done it before, doesn’t mean that you can’t do it now. Figure it out. Enjoy the process. Squelch self-doubt.
